About the Event

In this two-hour workshop, we will delve into the power of Yoga props.  What props you might need; how to source them; how to substitute common household items; and how to best utilize them for your own personal needs. 

Yoga Props are an integral part of many Accessible, Yin, and Restorative classes; however using them in your everyday practice can build greater support, deeper integration, and immense expansion in your postural practice.  Props are a powerful tool when combined with a sense of curiosity, a basic knowledge of their functions, and some helpful tips and tricks for customizing them to your own needs.     For this workshop: if you have Yoga props on hand (blocks, bolsters, straps, blanket, and/or a chair) please have them with you; however, they are not required to participate in this event.  After the event, Lauren will be emailing out a PDF guide with helpful information covered in the workshop and links for sourcing props as well as how to make your own.
